At Defined, we’re proud to be part of an inclusive, diverse community of athletes from all walks of life. Located in East Lakeview and near the heart of Boystown, our gym has always boasted a bit of ~flair 🌈 (seriously, the Lady Gaga and Beyonce playlists didn’t give it away!?).

We couldn’t be prouder to support our LGBTQ+ athletes and the broader community during Pride Month, June 1-30. That’s why every June, we throw down — at an all-levels-welcomed competition that celebrates who we are and gives back to the community we call home.

Get ready for the Defined Pride Throwdown: June 14, 2025

Defined Pride Throwdown 2025 is our annual charity competition taking place Saturday, June 14 in our space. This year, proceeds go to the Lighthouse Foundation, a multiracial social justice organization that advances justice for Black LGBTQ+ people through empowerment, education, and entertainment.

Registration is $60 per team (two individuals), and shirts will be $20/each. That’s $100 total between you and a teammate — all going toward a good cause. Register here.

During the competition, athletes will compete in teams of two across three workouts. It’s scalable and inclusive to all fitness levels, with divisions in RX, Intermediate, Scaled, and Just For Fun! These divisions are not tied to gender, so athletes can partner with anyone who can meet the requirements of their division! Workouts will be released a few weeks before the competition.

It’s a day of fun, fitness, friends, and of course, pride. We hope you’ll join us! Register here.

Looking for a teammate? Email chandler@defined.training and she’ll add you to a list of potential pairings!
